Real Circumstance Labs enable you to take control of your creative career within an encouraging and informal environment. The Labs are suitable for both individual artists and theatre companies.

The next Lab will be our day-long Fundraising Lab featuring talks, practical sessions, and group tutoring.

Saturday 19th May 2012 at Mosaic Publicity, Colchester

The Fundraising Lab will take a comprehensive approach to developing your fundraising skills, covering:

• How to present yourself and your artistic identity: identifying your Unique Selling Points and your project aims.
• Fundraising Strategies: what avenues are available for your professional development and your creative projects.
• Approaching funders and partners: how to write strong, tailored funding applications.
• Budgeting: how to write a thorough, realistic and appropriate budget.

The Lab will be delivered by Anna Bewick, Creative Producer of Real Circumstance and Arts Consultant. She has a proven fundraising track record, consistently raising funds from Arts Council England, charitable foundations, local and regional councils, co-producers, and private donors.

The Lab will be tailored to participants’ projects and requirements. Resources will made available online to participants after the Lab.
