What you need to know, if you really want to understand, is something about power.

Adam loves Dawn but she’s his step-daughter. Quentin’s promised to turn his life around because he’s got a baby coming. But when he meets Dawn late one night everything changes for all of them. When you have a child that’s when you stop being one.

And when it comes down to it, to be really powerful, sometimes you need to make a sacrifice.
