About Real Circumstance
Real Circumstance Theatre Company is dedicated to exploring new ways of playmaking; to developing emergent artists; and to raising the profile of the East of England as a source of creative work.
Based in Colchester, England, Real Circumstance delivers work nationally and internationally.
We have two new plays by Dan Sherer currently in development – Under a Tree at the End of Time and The Silence of Stars.
Dan Sherer, Artistic Director and Co-Founder
Dan is a director, writer, teacher and academic in both the United Kingdom and the United States. He specialises in directing new writing for the stage, teaching improvisatory directing and acting methods, and conducting anthropological research. Dan trained at RADA and the National Theatre.
